Quality controls

Set JPG/WEBP quality and the fill colour used where transparent areas become solid (JPG, BMP, PDF).

Which format should I use?

  • JPG – photos and marketplace listings; small files.
  • PNG – transparency, logos, screenshots, text.
  • WEBP – websites; smaller than JPG at similar quality.
  • ICO – website favicons (16 to 256 px sizes in one file).
  • PDF – documents and printing.
  • TIFF/BMP – printing and older software.

HEIC photos from iPhone

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many portals and Windows apps cannot open. Convert them to JPG in one batch before uploading.

How to use the Image converter, step by step

  1. Open Image converter and drop images.
  2. Choose the target format.
  3. Adjust quality if offered.
  4. Click Convert and download – several files come in a ZIP.

Tips

  • Use WEBP for websites, JPG for marketplaces, PNG when you need transparency.
