Print Amazon FBA Box Labels on 4×6 Thermal Labels
When you create an FBA shipment, Seller Central lets you print box labels for every carton. The PDF often places two labels on one page, which suits A4 sticker sheets but not a thermal printer.
Splitting each label onto its own 4×6 page lets you print box labels on the same roll as your shipping labels.
How to split FBA box labels
- Download the box labels PDF for your shipment from Seller Central.
- Open the FBA box label tool.
- Set Labels per page to match the PDF (2 per page top & bottom is the default).
- Check the output preview.
- Download or print the 4×6 labels.
Why box labels matter
Each box label identifies the shipment and carton so the fulfilment centre can receive it. Damaged or unreadable box labels can slow receiving at the fulfilment centre, so print them clearly and stick them flat on the box.
Thermal printer settings for box labels
- Paper size 4×6 in (100×150 mm) in the printer driver.
- Scale 100% / Actual size in the PDF viewer – never “Fit”.
- Darkness medium-high so the barcode prints solid black.
- Print one test label and scan it with your phone before printing the whole shipment.
Counting cartons
Box labels are numbered by Amazon for each carton in the shipment. After printing, lay the labels out in order and stick them as you seal each box, so carton 3 of 10 really goes on the third box you packed. Keep the original PDF until the shipment has been received in full.
Tips
- Do not cover box labels with tape glare.
- Place labels on a side, not across seams.
- Remove old labels from reused boxes.

No. FNSKU labels go on each product; box labels go on each carton.
