Who we are

LabelCroppers ("we", "us") operates the website labelcroppers.com, a set of free online tools for cropping shipping labels and working with PDF files and images. You can contact us at support@labelcroppers.com.

Files you open in our tools

All tools on this website run inside your web browser. When you add a PDF, image or Excel file, it is read and processed on your own device. Your files, and the customer names, addresses and order details inside them, are not uploaded to our servers or to anyone else. The results are created on your device and saved through your browser's normal download.

The AI background remover, image upscaler and OCR text reader also run on your device. Their model files are downloaded from our website to your browser; your images are not sent anywhere.

Information stored in your browser

To save you time, some settings are kept in your browser's local storage on your device, for example: your light or dark theme, crop boxes per marketplace, label and footer options, sticker settings, and the seller details you type into the GST invoice generator. This information is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

The site also uses a service worker to cache its own files so that the tools load quickly and keep working offline.

Information collected when you visit

Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical information that your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Hosting providers commonly keep these server logs for a limited period for security and to keep the service running. We do not use them to identify you.

We also count visits with our own privacy-friendly statistics: which pages are viewed, which tools are used and which marketplace a label file was detected as, the referring website, the type of device and, where available, the country. This uses no cookies. We do not store IP addresses – visitors are counted with a one-way code that changes every day and cannot be turned back into an IP address. File names, file contents and customer details are never recorded.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the website is used, and Google AdSense to show ads that keep the tools free. When these services are switched on, a banner asks for your consent before analytics or advertising cookies are set; if you choose "Only necessary", analytics stays off and any ads shown are non-personalised. These providers process data under their own privacy policies (Google: policies.google.com/privacy, Microsoft: privacy.microsoft.com). Session recordings are not used on the tool pages where your files are shown. See our Cookie Policy.

Messages you send us

If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. Contact form messages are stored in our website's private admin system together with a one-way code used only to prevent spam. We use them only to reply and to help you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or share personal information. We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect the security of the website.

Children

The website is intended for business users and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we do not receive your files, in most cases we hold no personal data about you. To make a request, write to support@labelcroppers.com.

We may update this policy as the website changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
