Eraser & restore
Erase Part of an Image Online (Brush Eraser + Restore)
Sometimes you need manual control: removing a stray object edge, cleaning a cut-out or erasing a corner.
A brush eraser with a restore brush gives you that control.
How to erase
- Open the Eraser & restore tool.
- Drop an image.
- Choose Eraser and set brush size and softness.
- Paint over what you want to remove.
- Switch to Restore to bring back anything erased by mistake, then download.
Brush settings
- Small size for edges, large for big areas.
- Low softness for hard product edges.
- Higher softness for hair and fur.
Examples
- Clean a stray hand or object edge from a product cut-out.
- Erase a watermark corner on your own image.
- Remove a background patch the AI left behind.
Preview backgrounds
Switch between Checker, White and Dark previews to see leftover pixels or halos that are hard to spot on one background. Hold to compare shows the original image.
Erasing precisely
Zoom in on large images and reduce the brush size when working near edges. Short strokes are easier to undo than one long stroke. If you remove too much, switch to Restore and paint the area back instead of starting over – Restore brings back the original pixels exactly.
Combine with other tools
- Remove the background with AI first, then erase leftovers.
- Use the Magic eraser for solid colours.
- Upscale small images before editing for finer control.
Undo and redo
Use Undo/Redo or Start over at any time.
