FirstCry label crop
Print Style Code and Age on FirstCry Labels Automatically
In kidswear, the same frock or set ships in six or more age sizes. A label that only shows the address forces the packer to check the invoice every time.
Stamping the style code and age makes the label a packing instruction.
What is stamped
- Style Code – your product code from the invoice.
- Age – the size range, e.g. 3-4 Y.
- Qty – pieces in the order.
- The order number for reference.
How it is read
The FirstCry label crop tool reads each invoice in the merged PDF, finds the product lines and copies the details to the label that belongs to the same order.
Example stamp
A typical stamp reads “SKC-FROCK-RED · Age 3-4 Y · Qty 1”. For an order with a frock and a set, both lines appear, each with its own age and quantity. Packers simply match each line with the garment tags.
Keeping style codes clean
- Use the same style code in your FirstCry catalogue and on garment tags.
- Avoid spaces and special characters.
- Include colour in the code if the same style comes in several colours.
Why it saves time
Packing staff can pick the right product and size straight from the label without opening the invoice, which reduces wrong-size shipments and returns.
Multi-item orders
Every item is listed with its own age and quantity, so mixed-size orders are packed correctly.
