Meesho Catalog Upload Guide: Images, Details and Pricing That Get Orders

Updated 27 October 2026 · 3 min read · By the LabelCroppers team

On Meesho, shoppers scroll a visual feed. Your catalog's first image decides whether they stop. Complete and accurate details decide whether they order and keep the product.

How catalogs work

A catalog groups similar products (for example several prints of the same kurti style). Each product within it has its own images, price and stock. Well-organised catalogs make it easier for shoppers to choose and for Meesho to show your products to the right people.

Image rules that matter

  • First image: product clearly visible, clean background, no collage.
  • No watermarks, phone numbers or misleading text.
  • Additional images: back, close-up of fabric/detail, size chart, product in use.
  • Good light and true colours.
  • Square images display well in the feed.

Product details

Fill every field: fabric, pattern, sleeve, length, occasion, sizes with measurements. Complete details help Meesho match products to searches and reduce returns.

Pricing in the upload

Enter the price after calculating shipping and returns. Check the shipping charge Meesho shows for your product weight before finalising.

Bulk upload tips

  • Use the latest template for the category.
  • Keep image file names and SKUs consistent.
  • Upload one catalog first to check for errors.
  • Keep a master sheet so prices and stock are easy to update.

After upload

Watch views and orders per catalog for the first week. Catalogs with views but no orders usually need a better first image or price; catalogs with no views may need better categorisation or details.

Organising catalogs for discovery

Group products that a shopper would compare – for example several prints of the same kurti cut, or several colours of one t-shirt design – into one catalog. Avoid mixing unrelated products. Give each catalog a clear name and keep sizes and prices consistent within it.

Sizes and measurements

For clothing, enter every available size and include a size chart image with measurements in inches. "Free size" products should state the measurements they fit. Missing or vague sizes are a leading cause of returns on Meesho.

Keeping catalogs fresh

Upload new catalogs regularly in trending styles. Deactivate products that never get orders or that keep being returned, so they do not drag down your account's quality metrics.

Writing product details that convert

Meesho shoppers often decide quickly, but they still check fabric, size and what is included. Use plain, specific language: "Fabric: rayon, Kurta length: 44 inches, Set includes kurta, pant and dupatta". Avoid vague words like "premium" or "best quality" that do not help a buyer decide. Accurate details reduce returns – which protects your quality score and your profit.
