FirstCry Label and Invoice Mismatch: How Flagged Orders Work
In a merged FirstCry PDF, a missing or extra page can shift every label against the wrong invoice. Stamping the wrong style code would be worse than no stamp.
That is why each label is verified before it is stamped.
What is checked
The FirstCry label crop tool compares the order number and customer details on the label and the invoice. Only matching pairs are stamped and printed.
Flagged orders
- Shown with a warning or error status in the report.
- Collected into a separate review PDF.
- Listed in a CSV you can open in Excel.
Statuses explained
- Stamped & verified – label and invoice match; printed.
- Warning – details partly match; check before shipping.
- Error – label and invoice do not match; not printed.
What usually causes mismatches
Missing pages in the downloaded PDF, two PDFs merged in the wrong order, or an invoice for an order that was cancelled after labels were generated.
Workflow for flagged orders
- Print the matched labels first and start packing.
- Open the flagged pages PDF and check each order against the invoice.
- Fix or re-download anything that is wrong in the FirstCry panel.
- Print the corrected labels separately.
Clearing them
Open the review PDF, check each order against the FirstCry panel and print those labels manually once confirmed.
