FirstCry label crop
How to Print FirstCry Labels on a Thermal Printer
FirstCry’s merged PDF alternates labels and invoices, so printing it directly wastes stickers on invoices.
Crop first, then print only labels at full size.
Crop and stamp
Drop the merged PDF into the FirstCry label crop tool. You get one 4×6 label per order with Style Code, Age and Qty printed on it.
Printer setup
- Paper size 4 × 6 in (or 100 × 150 mm).
- Direct thermal mode, medium darkness.
- Calibrate the gap sensor after loading a roll.
Printing flagged orders
Orders that fail the label–invoice check are not in the main print file. After checking them in your panel, open the review PDF and print those labels separately so every order ships.
Settings for crisp stamps
- Darkness at the middle setting.
- Print speed normal, not maximum.
- Clean the head weekly with an alcohol swab.
Keep stamps readable
The Style Code, Age and Qty stamp is small text, so print speed matters. Lower the speed or raise darkness slightly if the stamp looks faint, and keep the printhead clean.
Print at 100% with no margins. Check the first label, then print the rest.
