Old vs New AJIO Labels: How to Tell Them Apart and Print Both
AJIO sellers may receive two label formats. If your tool only understands one, labels from the other type come out blank or unmatched.
Knowing the difference helps you check that every label is handled.
Old AJIO labels
- Show an Order # with a D or X mark.
- Matched to your order Excel by order ID.
- Read by OCR when the order number is part of an image.
New Dropship labels
- Show a Shipment # and the customer order ID.
- Matched to the Dropship order sheet by shipment number.
- Can also carry a sequence number and stamp time.
Why two formats exist
Marketplaces update label formats as their logistics systems change. During the transition, sellers can receive both formats in the same week, or even the same day. A tool that understands both avoids having to keep two different workflows.
Checking which format you have
- Look for “Shipment #” near the top – that is a new Dropship label.
- Look for “Order #” with a D or X mark – that is an old label.
- In the crop tool, the tag in the file list confirms it automatically.
Print both in one go
Drop both PDFs into the AJIO label crop tool. Each file is tagged “Old AJIO label” or “New AJIO label” in the file list, and the stamping method switches automatically.
