Ekart Label Crop: Print Flipkart Ekart Labels on 4×6
Most Flipkart orders ship with Ekart Logistics, Flipkart’s own courier. The Ekart label shows the AWB barcode, the order ID, routing codes and the customer address.
Cropping it correctly matters because the Ekart rider scans the AWB at pickup and again at every hub.
What is on an Ekart label
- Courier name (E-Kart Logistics) and service type (STD/E).
- Order ID starting with OD and the AWB barcode.
- Customer address, HBD (handover by date) and CPD (customer promise date).
- SKU, description and quantity of the item.
How to crop it
Drop the Flipkart PDF into the Flipkart label crop tool or the Auto-detect tool. The Ekart label is recognised automatically – even though the Flipkart logo is an image – and cropped exactly to its border.
Reading the routing information
Ekart labels carry a routing code such as a hub or sort code printed near the barcode. Couriers use it to send the parcel to the right delivery hub. Cropping keeps this code at full size so hub staff can read it quickly.
The label also shows “Ordered through Flipkart” with the Flipkart logo and the item’s SKU and description, which you can use to check you are packing the right product.
Checking labels before handover
- The AWB number on the label matches the order in Seller Hub.
- The SKU on the label matches the item in the box.
- The HBD is today or later.
- The label is flat, unwrinkled and not covered by tape glare.
Before handing over
Check that HBD on each label is not in the past and that the barcode scans with your phone’s camera app if you are unsure about print quality.
