Flipkart Shipping Label Size Explained (and the Right Roll to Buy)
The Flipkart label PDF is A4, but the shipping label inside it is a narrow, tall block at the top of the page. When you crop it out, it is roughly 3.1 × 4.9 inches – smaller than a 4×6 sticker.
That is why you can either print it at its own size or scale it up to fill a full 4×6 label.
Two ways to print
- Exact Flipkart size – the label is printed at its original size, the same as Flipkart’s own label-only download. Sharp, with white margins on a 4×6 sticker.
- Fit to 4×6 – the label is scaled up to fill the sticker. Bigger text and barcode, useful for older scanners.
Which roll to buy
Buy standard 4 × 6 inch or 100 × 150 mm direct thermal rolls. They suit Flipkart, Meesho, Amazon and almost every other marketplace, so you only stock one roll type.
Measuring the cropped label
The Flipkart label sits inside a printed border on the A4 page. Flipkart’s own label-only file uses a crop box of about 225 × 355 points – roughly 79 × 125 mm. That is why a 4×6 sticker (102 × 152 mm) has room to spare when you print at exact size.
Scaling up to 4×6 enlarges everything by about 25%, which makes the AWB barcode and address easier to read for riders in poor light.
Which option sellers usually pick
- Exact size – when you want labels to look identical to Flipkart’s downloads.
- Fit to 4×6 – when riders struggle to scan small barcodes.
- A6 or A4 – when printing on sticker sheets with a laser printer.
Choosing in the tool
In the Flipkart label crop tool, keep Flipkart: same as Flipkart’s label download ticked for the exact size, or untick it and choose 4×6 to fill the sticker.
Frequently asked questions
